Wednesday Fellowship Group

1st, 3rd & 4th Wednesday @ 10.30am

We are not a straight forward Bible Study Group, more a time of sharing prayer, discussion and learning. Prayer plays an important part of our time together and each week a different person will suggest our main prayer topic for that morning followed by a time of personal prayer requests and thanks.

A wide variety of topic are discussed over coffee and biscuits and in the past year we have heard about the writers and origin of some of our more famous Christmas Carols, Biblical animals and the Sabbath Day. As we support different missions, i.e. Smiles, Tear Fund, Release International, Leprosy, SAT-7 and many others, we share news about their events as well as financially supporting a different organisation every 3 months alternatively in the UK/aboard.

Occasionally we will watch a DVD or have a “DIY” morning. About once a year we go out on a prayer walk around the church of deliver leaflets about a coming church event. The meeting lasts about an hour and a half, we have about 8-10 regular members and occasionally Pastor Barry joins us.
