Safeguarding

Children and Young People

Amesbury Baptist are committed to safeguarding children and considers that the safety and well being of children is of paramount importance. We expect all who attend ABC, especially leaders, trustees and all who work with children to do their part to keep children safe and cared for.

Vulnerable Adults

Those who work with vulnerable adults at ABC are expected to offer care in ways which uphold the dignity and value of the individual.

Policies and Procedures

ABC has in place a Safeguarding Policy with Procedures which has been endorsed by ABC Spiritual Leaders and Deacons and is reviewed annually.

ABC is committed to provide a safe environment for staff, volunteers, and anyone who comes into contact with it.

We expect workers to keep to the relevant policies and we give training and put in place oversight to ensure this happens. We follow a safe recruiting process for staff, including DBS checks.
