Well, here we are and back into our Centre. We first offer our grateful thanks to our fellow churches in Amesbury and to Rev Darren A’Court and the parishioners of St Mary and St Melor in particular, for their generous offer to use the Wyndham Hall and Amesbury Primary School for our Sunday meetings over the summer. God has indeed been amongst His people in our town and we appreciate their kind support.

There is much to be done and we cannot re-enter the building until Wiltshire Council has cleaned the halls; the kitchen and study areas have sustained some staining and suffered infestation damage over the hot summer.  We are calling for volunteers to clean the upstairs rooms and the Sanctuary next Saturday morning (6th October) from 9.30 am in preparation for our first service back on Sunday 7th.

We must continue in prayer and learn what God has been teaching us through this experience. We heard of the power of prayer at several recent services. We are exploring how best to engage with our town and to present the good news of Jesus to our community. Please link up with a house group if you can and join in prayer and growth. Finally, we pray for Barry over the next two months of his sabbatical as he serves the Lord in Israel and seeks God’s Will in reflection and prayer.
